The price of the LCD and the LED TV sets these days are astoundingly
high and not many can afford to buy them, even if they make it easier to
watch the digital images coming in from the networks these days. But
fret not, there is a solution and it is not a painful solution either.
When it comes to LEDs and LCDs these need not be very expensive. It is
important to remember that the only difference between the LCD and the
LED TVs is the LED bulb that is used. The screens for both digital TVs
are exactly the same. The LED though is thinner because the bulbs are
smaller and thinner as well. So when these are place at the back and on
the sides, they occupy less space. But the images coming in are the same
and they look the same.

In the past, it was true that the quality of images displayed on the LCD
screens were not as crisp or as well lit as those of the LED. But since
then, the LCD technology has matured that the only difference between
the two other than the LED light is the price. LED TVs are way too
overpriced compared to the LCD. So if the homeowners want to watch great
movies with their BluRay DVDs, they can enjoy the same quality watching
them from LCD TV. There is no real difference.
The great thing about these TV sets is that these can be hung on the
wall like a portrait and they can be converted into wireless monitors.
No mess, no wires, same quality pictures.
However, for those who want to experience the 3D TV, then it is
important to choose the LED for these are the ones that are in the
forefront of this technology. Although, there are now cheap LCD TV units
that are 3D compatible, but this author is not sure of the quality.

Having a great TV set really counts, especially after a stressful day at
work. Although buying the high tech TV units may be expensive, there is
a way to find the cheap LCD and LED TV units. Just make sure that the
models chosen have all that it takes to be considered quality units.
They should have USB ports, they should be internet compatible, they
should have a great sound even if these are not attached to a sound
system, and they should be up to the standards that are set for digital
TV units.
